Establishing Independent Panel on Evidence for Action against AMR (IPEA) - Stakeholder information sessions

On 18–19 November 2025, two information sessions on the establishment of the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action against AMR (IPEA) were hosted by the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform (AMR MSPP). The sessions brought together more than 300 participants from the human, agrifood, animal, plant and environmental sectors, representing various regions.

Representatives of the Quadripartite organizations — FAO, UNEP, WHO and WOAH — shared the latest updates and progress on the IPEA process, responded to stakeholders’ questions, and provided clarifications on the next steps.

• 19 November: Session for Non-State actors, including research and academia, the private sector, civil society organizations, financial institutions, and philanthropic organizations.
