From commitments to integrated One Health delivery on AMR: Accelerating multisectoral implementation of the UNGA Political Declaration on AMR
The AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform (AMR-MSPP), facilitated by the Quadripartite organizations (FAO, UNEP, WHO and WOAH) is pleased to announce that its 4th Plenary Assembly will take place from 16 to 18 November 2026 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
The Plenary will bring together MSPP members, observers and invited partners from across regions and One Health sectors for three days of discussion focused on moving from political commitments to practical delivery. Discussions will cover progress and implementation gaps, country-level support, the integration of AMR across broader One Health and development agendas, preparations for the Fifth High-Level Ministerial Conference on AMR, and the future of MSPP Action Groups.
The Plenary will conclude on 18 November with the global launch of World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) 2026, connecting its outcomes and commitments to the wider campaign and calling for coordinated One Health awareness and action across sectors.
