Yerkem Sembayeva

Yerkem Sembayeva is a Communications Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). She works within the Communication, Information and Knowledge Management Hub of the Animal Production and Health Division.

She leads FAO’s communications on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), coordinating efforts across the organization and with external partners. Yerkem also manages communications for the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform and supports youth engagement initiatives, with a focus on One Health and AMR.
