Wenjing Yan

Born in China, Wenjing has a BA in law and a MA in international law. She is an experienced communications consultant, licensed practicing lawyer and lifelong learner with a proven track records within international affairs, environment policy advocacy and partnership.

With over ten years of serving in the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in HQ and China Office, she was privileged to have been trained to be an experienced communication specialist with a demonstrable history of working in communications and partnership, both at operational and strategic levels. She has a strong capacity of partnership development and fundraising skills, rich experience with advocacy as well as growing networking and multi-stakeholders’ engagement.

When not working, she likes to connect with nature and spend time with families and friends by hiking and traveling. She has a passion for yoga which is a great way to relax the mind and involves concentrating on breathing.
