Wei Wang is from the Food
safety authority in China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment
(CFSA), where he works on isolation and identification of food-borne pathogens
as well as food-borne pathogen risk assessment and development of national food
safety standards. Using whole genome sequencing, she explores the
emergence and transmission of food-borne pathogens and drug
resistance. His contribution to the Technical Group will revolve
around the effect of AMR in the food chain and estimating the economic fall-out
from such outbreaks.
