Dr Rajesh Bhatia - Technical Consultant, India

Dr Bhatia’s main areas of work include AMR in human and animal health sectors, health system, IHR, emerging diseases, lab establishment and strengthening, outbreak management, One Health and neglected tropical diseases. He has extensive experience working with multinational agencies and development partners including WHO, FAO, UNEP, USAID and Asia Development Bank. Dr Bhatia has been in national and supranational leadership in public health, health systems and AMR project development and implementation in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environments. At all levels, he has led or been engaged in coordinating multi-stakeholder activities across countries and advocacy.
