Olga Perovic is Principal Pathologist at the Centre for Healthcare-Associated Infections, Antimicrobial Resistance and Mycoses (CHARM) at National Institute for Communicable Diseases and Associate Professor at University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She has extensive experience in clinical microbiology and AMR surveillance, including laboratory quality capacity building within the WHO Collaborating Centres network. Her contribution to the Technical Group will revolve around the accuracy of previously reported AMR data, methods for standardization, and potential adaptations for the reported data to best inform the economic models. |
