Dr Perán i Sala has extensive experience in the development and practical implementation of policies and strategies in the field of AMR, food systems and (veterinary) public health at national, European and international levels. She is the chair of the AMR Action Package-Global Health Security Agenda, the lead for the Dutch team of the EU-Joint Action AMR and chair of the WP One Health National strategies and national action plans, and the liaison officer for AMR international cooperation. She is a member of the Dutch Team Health Track at G20 and a resource person for AMR (including integrated surveillance). She is the former chair of the WG that developed the Guidelines on Integrated monitoring and surveillance of foodborne AMR of the intergovernmental Task Force AMR of Codex Alimentarius. She assists the Dutch Minister for Health in GLG-related advocacy work, member of the Steering committee of the Multi-Partner Trust Fund AMR and is engaged with multilateral and bilateral cooperation (e.g., India-Netherlands) on integrated surveillance AMR.
