He is engaged in the establishment of AMR and AMU surveillance standards and risk assessment as part of the WOAH CC for Veterinary Medicinal Products and the FAO Reference Centre on AMR. He provides strategic and technical advice to veterinary public health at national and regional levels as a steering committee member of the French national surveillance networks on AMR and AMU. He is the vice-chair of the Antimicrobial Working Party of the European Medicine Agency (AWP-EMA), and a member of the European Antimicrobial Advice (AMEG) and European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Expert Groups. He is an AMR expert for the French delegation during the Ad hoc Codex Intergovernmental Task Force on Antimicrobial Resistance (TFAMR 7 & 8) and is on the Joint FAO/WHO Roster of Experts on Foodborne AMR.
