She coordinates the diverse CGIAR AMR research portfolio within livestock, aquaculture, and crop production systems. Her role includes AMR policy and capacity development in Africa and Asia, in

alignment with AMR NAPs of partner countries. She has engaged with the Quadripartite as part of the advisory group that developed the TORs for the Independent Panel on AMR evidence and participated in the AMR surveillance Technical Advisory Group in Eastern Africa led by FAO. She is part of the expert consultation for the UNEA-5 Report on AMR and participates in the expert consultation for the development of a One Health Priority Research Agenda for Antimicrobial Resistance. She has researched and published extensively on AMR epidemiology and transmission in food systems, and AMU and AMU-reducing interventions in livestock in LMICs.
